How much advance notice would I need to give in booking for an Auslan Interpreter?As there are not many qualified and experienced Auslan interpreters in the industry, it is advisable to book for the interpreter at least 1 week in advance, so that we may assign you with the most suitable Auslan interpreter.
Are there simple tips to improve interpreting process for people with hearing impairment?
Yes. Ensure the Auslan interpreter can see and hear, and be seen and be heard. Also, speak at normal pace. Speaking at deliberately slow pace actually makes interpreting more difficult!
